Vladimir Komovich (Bass)

Biography

Vladimir Komovich was born in Krasnoyarsk. In 2013 he graduated from the Krasnoyarsk State Academy of Music and Theatre (V. Efimov’s class). While still a student he became the probationer with the Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre, where debuted as Luka Zinovich in Rimsky-Korsakov’s Sadko. Then, after graduation from the Academy Vladimir joined the Krasnoyarsk Theatre Opera Company as soloist. Frequently toured with the Opera Company in Krasnoyarsk region. 

In 2014 he trained at the creative laboratory for young singers “Siberian solo” (Krasnoyarsk); participated in master classes with Carlos Alvares, Yusif Eivazov, Nikola Pamio and Bolshoi Theatre soloists. In 2015 he studied with “Collegio di Milano” (A. Gusev’s class). 

In season 2016-17 Vladimir became a member of the Young Artists Program at the Bolshoi Theatre. He made his Bolshoi Theatre debut in the premiere production of Puccini’s Manon Lescaut singing the part of Naval Captain (conductor Jader Bignamini, director Adolf Shapiro). 

Since 2017 Vladimir Komovich has been a soloist of Bolshoi Theatre Opera Company.
