Artur Pizarro (Portugal) (Piano soloist)
The name of the Portuguese pianist Artur Pizarro (born 1968) in the world knows very well. His talent manifested itself very early: the first concert given prodigy at age three, and 13 began regular public appearances. Basic skills learned Pizarro in Portugal, were honed in Kansas (USA) and Paris. Since then, subtlety, poetry and "breathtaking sensitivity» (Glasgow Herald) are distinctive qualities of his performing style. International recognition came after the musician resounding victory in the competition in Leeds (1990) and released several CDs, dispersed huge numbers. The desire to perform and record any program teams, and a full cycle and collected works immediately put him among the most prominent European pianists. In 2004, for the recording of all 32 Beethoven sonatas he received the Royal Philharmonic Society. Followed the successful CD recordings of the complete solo piano works by Chopin, Debussy and Ravel, who received the highest critical acclaim. Pianist prefers large-scale projects and concert practice. The program of his speech in the House of Music has two series: "Goyeski" Granados - the most famous works of Spanish composer, inspired by the paintings of Francesco Goya and the 24 Preludes of Frederic Chopin.
