Variations on British gimnaa Honored Artist of Russia Lyudmila Golub - an amazing performer she is equally brilliantly plays the harpsichord, piano and, of course, on the organ. A graduate of the Moscow Conservatory, Golub recitals in Russia and abroad, including in the major European cathedrals - St Paul's in London, Madeleine and Notre Dame in Paris. Participated in numerous Russian and international festivals, she has played with orchestras under the direction of Pierre Boulez, Yehudi Menuhin, Evgeny Svetlanov, Gennady Rozhdestvensky, Vladimir Fedoseyev, Mikhail Pletnev, A. Lazarev. Ludmila Golub organ repertoire includes a vast array of legacy IS Bach, all the works of Brahms, Mozart and works of Romantic composers. She takes a special interest in music of the twentieth century, being the first performer in Russia many works of Ives, Messiaen, Ligeti, Jolivet. Organist has numerous recordings on CD (company Chandos, Le Chant du Monde, Hyperion), as well as on radio and TV.
