Valery Kritskov (Music Director) 
Valery Kritskov – Conductor and Music Director of the Kolobov Novaya Opera Theatre.
In 1988 graduated from Moscow College of culture (faculty of orchestra conducting, class of Honored Artist of Russia K.Tikhonov). Before 2002, when Valery Kritskov was invited to the Novaya Opera theatre, he worked at the Moscow theatre Helikone-Opera.
In the Novaya Opera theatre he conducts Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Snow Maiden and The Tsar’s Bride, Rubinstein’s The Demon, Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana, Leonkavallo’s I Pagliacci, Verdi’s Nabucco, concert “Vincenzo Bellini” and ballets: Tchaikovsky’s The Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker and Swan Lake, Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet, Carmen-Suite by G.Bizet-R.Shedrin and Minkus’ Don Quixote, Gounod’s Walpurgis Night, Divertissement, Khatchaturyan’s Spartacus (joint productions with The Kasatkina and Vasilцv State Academic Classical Ballet Theatre and with the Imperial Russian Ballet).
Valery Kritskov has participated in the CD recordings “Chorus of the Novaya Opera Theatre of Moscow” and “Soloists of the Novaya Opera Theatre of Moscow”.
