Since 2002,  the soloist of the Helikon-Opera . In the theater Dmitri Skorikov performed parts like Don Pasquale (Don Pasquale G. Donizetti), Falstaff (Falstaff G. Verdi), Ramphis (Aida  G. Verdi), Kotchubey (Mazzeppa P.Tchaikovsky), Malyuta Skuratov ( Tsar's Bride N. Rimsky-Korsakov),Vodnik - Watersprite  (Mermaid  A. Dvorak), Boris Godunov, Pimen (Boris Godunov M. Moussorgsky), Don Bartolo (Il Barbiere di Siviglia  G. Rossini), Salieri (Mozart and Salieri N. Rimsky-Korsakov) .

Since 2011 - guest soloist of the Bolshoi Theater :  Polkan (The Golden Cockerel N. Rimsky-Korsakov (directed by K. Serebrennikov), Tchelio (Love for the Three Oranges S. Prokofiev (directed by P. Ustinov).

In 2015,  he was invited to the Mikhailovsky Theater of St. Petersburg to perform the roles of Don Bartolo in  Il Barbiere di Siviglia  G. Rossini, Colline in La Boheme G. Puccini and Vodnik - Watersprite in Dvorak's Mermaid.

Since 2016 - guest soloist of the Samara Opera and Ballet Theater. He played the role of  Boris Timofeevich Izmailov in  Lady Macbeth of the Mtsensk by D. Shostakovich (directed by H. Isahakyan), Don Bartolo in  Il Barbiere di Siviglia  G. Rossini, Il Re  in  Aida  G. Verdi.

In 2017, he was nominated for the prestigious National Theater Award "Golden Mask" (2016) for Best Actor - Boris Timofeevich Izmailov in Lady Macbeth of the Mtsensk  D. Shostakovich at the Samara Opera and Ballet Theater.

He toured in France, Spain, the Netherlands, Israel, Italy, Lebanon, Azerbaijan, China, South Korea, Thailand, Brazil. Cooperates with various symphony orchestras and orchestras of folk instruments.

He participated in the projects with the stars of the world opera scene: D. Khvorostovsky, A. Netrebko, E. Obraztsova, D. Korczak, L. Kleikomb, R. Pape, and others.

Cooperates with such outstanding conductors as G. Rozhdestvensky, M. Pletnev, V. Ponkin, M. Tatarnikov, V. Sinaisky, E. Klaas, Y. Bashmet, A.Kober, B. Pionnier, L.Acocella.

Concert activity occupies a significant place in the work of Dmitri Skorikov. He constantly performs with solo concerts at the prestigious venues in Moscow and tours the cities of Russia, performing old Russian romances, folk songs, chamber vocal works and arias from operas, songs of domestic and foreign variety.

Dmitri Skorikov is a regular participant of the program Romance of Romance on the Culture channel.
