Dmitry Shostakovich‘s 100 anniversary which is marked in 2006, is not simply significant anniversary, it is one more important stimulus to come nearer to a solution of the genius, to look at its creativity from positions of new time, from positions of XXI century.

The Moscow philarmonic society accumulating enormous performing potential of musicians and musical collectives of capital, in anniversary represents year of the composer large-scale and long-term festival which will be prolonged from September till December, 2006.
