Ekaterina Oblezova (Soprano)

Born in Moscow. Graduated from the Nizhny Novgorod State Glinka Conservatory in 1994.

Had been an artist of the choir of "Helikon-Opera" since 1991, a soloist since 1995.

Her strong point is temperamental roles in comic operas. One of her first solo roles was Ida from Strauss’s "Die Fledermaus". Ida appeares to the public very funny and touching, psychologically exact and recognized. Her performing decorated this bright and celebratory performance as originally theatrical sparkling jewelry.
Ekaterina Oblezova is the artist possessing the broadest colourful palette. Her characters are significant, and at the same time her performing appropriate elegant ease, masterful tapering.
Directing became a natural stage of the creative biography of Ekaterina Oblezova. As the assistant to the director she worked on Verdi’s "Macbeth" (directed by Danis Krief); Rimsky-Korsakov ’s "The Tsar’s Bride", "Kashey the Immortal", Berg’s "Lulu" and many more performances directed by Dmitry Bertman.
