Anna Medvedeva (Soprano) Born in Volgograd. In 1991, she completed her studies at the Borisogleb Music College (conducting-choral faculty). She then taught at the music school in the town of Mikhailovka (Volgograd region). In 1996, she entered the Vogograd branch of the Samara Institute of the Arts, and continued her training at the Volgograd Serebryakov Municipal Institute of the Arts (faculty of singing).
In 2000, she joined the Volgograd Opera Enterprise (renamed in 2004 Tsaritsynskaya Opera), where she sang the following roles:
Violetta (La Traviata)
Gilda (Rigoletto)
Marfa (The Tsar‘s Bride)
Prilepa (The Queen of Spades)
Snow Maiden (The Snow Maiden)
Since 2003, she has been with the Galina Vishnevskaya Centre for Opera Singing.
Awards
She won 3rd prize at the Competition for singers, prize-winners of international competitions (Sobinov Festival, Saratov, 2005).
