Murad Adigezalzade (Piano soloist)

Murad Zohrab ogli Adigezalzade was born in November 20,1973 in Baku. He was entered a Secondary Specialized School of Music named after Bul-Bul in 1980.
In 1984, participated in the “Concertino-Prague” International Radio Competition and was named amongst the top ten young pianists.
He took part on tour to Czechoslovakia in 1987. In August 1990, participated in the International Pianists Competition in Germany. Toured Turkey in September and October of the same year. In 1991, he graduated from the school and entered the Baku Sate Academy of Music named after Uzeir Gadjibekov. He attended the classes of Professor R. Atakishiyev and later, classes of Professor F. Badalbeyli. He toured through Turkey with the State Chamber Orchestra in 1995.
In May 1996, he became a First Prizewinner of Republican Competition of Pianists and was named as “The Best Pianist of the Year”. In December of the same year he was named as “The Best Musician of the Year”. After graduating from Baku Academy of Music, entered the Higher School for Musicians in Munich, Germany, and studied in classes of Professor Elisso Virsaladze. He graduated that school in 1998.
During the years of studying in Germany, he gave some solo concerts in Schwelm, Germany. The same year became a post-graduate student and worked on probation in the State Conservatoire of Moscow named after P.I. Chaikovsky, where He studied in classes of Professor Virsaladze, too. He graduated State Conservatoire of Moscow (SCM) in November 2000. While studying in SCM performed with the concerts in Moscow, Turkey, and Baku. Also, together with scholarship holders of Vladimir Spivakov Foundation, participated in the Festival of Musicians held in Kiev, Ukraine.
In December 2000, He toured through Turkey with the State Symphony Orchestra of Bursa City. Intensively propagandizing Azeri music in Baku and abroad. His repertoire includes works by Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Haydn, Schumann, Schubert, Brahms, Chaikovsky, Rachmaninov and others. He had performed under the direction of well-known conductors, such as N.Rzayev, R. Abdullayev, Y. Adigezalov, R. Melikaslanov, V. Sirenko,V.Jordaniya, V. Altshuler, V. Verbitsky, Y. Bashmet, V.Fedoseev, V.Kakhidze .
In October 2001, won the II International Piano Competition in Tbilisi, Georgia (2nd prize, 1st prize non-awarded). In December 2001 was taking part in International Festival in Tblisi, Georgia. In January 2002 was performing on tour with the chamber orchestra from Ingolstatd and performed solo concert in Keningsbakh. In March of the same year performed in the “Richter’s memory” International Festival in Moscow organized by “YAMAHA” and also in Antalia (Turkey) with the State Symphonic Orchestra. In April was performing with solo concert in small hall of Moscow State Conservatory named after Tchaikovski and in the museum named after K. Rerikh. In May 2002 performed with the State Symphonic Orchestra of Baku. In June 2002 took part in 12th International Competition named after Tchaikovski.
At the present, along with his concert activities, he works in Baku State Music Academy as a Senior Lecturer in the Chair of Special Fortepiano.
On March 2, 2004 he was conferred the rank of soloist of Moscow State Academic Philharmony
