Igor Butman to festivals can count the years of the new millennium. XIV «Triumph of Jazz" in 2014, as always at the end of winter in Moscow gathers musicians of the highest rank.

 

The most important holiday - the fans of the saxophone. In Moscow perform eminent alto saxophonist and composer Rudresh Mahanhappa, Indian, begot in Italy and living in the USA. He received a thorough jazz education in America, but his style found in their historic homeland. The fact that both plays and Mahanhappa no banal "exoticism", jazz techniques subtly combined with the features of classical Indian music, creating whimsical and sophisticated mixed. For this peculiarity it repeatedly noted international prizes and scholarships.
